HoloLens2 Announcement

After 4 years of waiting, HoloLens2 is finally expected to meet the world. Electricity in the air. As long-time developers of HoloLens applications, we decided to live this moment in mixed reality fashion.

Today, we experimented with a live Youtube broadcast of our team watching the live stream of Microsoft’s HoloLens2 Announcement at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, while staying connected inside MRRox. In other words, we streamed a live stream within a live stream in mixed reality.

Although that sounds very meta in concept, it was logistically challenging and thus a good stress test for MRRox. See this experiment in action in the video below starting from the 3:00 minute mark.
